The country walking :
The hiking way “Des chênes au Château” from the Oaks to the Castle will make you discover the Flemish country side and its treasure.
On your way, you’ll catch a site of the Esquelbecq Castle, the beautiful Townhouse, the typical farms, the British cemetery of the Commonwealth, the chapels, the Yser River and the church, all this covered in 11 Km distance. The roundabout way is marked out.
The hiking way fleet is available at the Tourism Office**/Maison du Westhoek.
Fees for a donkey:
1h30 to 2 hours : 20 €/donkey
15 €/extra donkey
3h30 to 4 hours : 30 €/donkey
25 €/extra donkey
Half a day : 35 €/donkey

Tour with guide : 5 € in addition per guide
Tour with donkeys
The donkeys will escort and guide you through the Flemish country side. They will charm the younger as well as the older. They will also help in carrying on your luggage.
(Only children are authorized to ride the donkeys)
